In this position you will strengthen our sales team as Key Account Manager (m/f/d). You will be responsible for our existing Central European customers and identify new opportunities to expand our cooperation. Our customers are energy suppliers, municipal utilities as well as industrial customers. As an intermediary between our customers and the various teams at our company, you will work at our state-of-the-art production site in Cologne. In your role, you will learn first-hand about the developments and challenges in the field of high and extra-high voltage cable systems in a dynamic energy market.

You will be responsible for the following aspects: 
Your agenda will include technical sales and marketing of high and extra-high voltage cable systems for the Central European customer base as well as the development and expansion of technical and commercial business relationships with defined focus customers and markets. You will actively shape the entire sales process and take over the management of contract award negotiations. In addition, you will be responsible for developing the basic figures for budget compilation in the team. Further key tasks are:  

  • Strategy development for further business expansion
  • Optimisation of the bidding and acquisition processes in the tender team
  • Close and active cooperation in the end-to-end process with internal stakeholders


To connect a greener world, you should have the following skills and experience:
You have a diploma, a completed Master's degree as an electrical engineer or Master of Business Administration and can already demonstrate several years of relevant professional experience as a Key Account Manager in a comparable industry (cable industry, energy industry). You are also confident in using MS Office (MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and have experience in using a CRM system. Your profile is rounded off by sales experience in the project business as well as good technical and commercial understanding. Furthermore, you pursue a very goal-oriented, independent, structured and analytical way of working and are interested in complex challenges. You are also characterised by a strong customer orientation with a confident demeanour. Further important qualifications are:

  • Fluent written and spoken German and English, knowledge of French or Dutch is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and solution orientation
  • Readiness to travel at home and abroad approx. 30-60% (DACH)
