As an HR Business Partner (m/f/d) at NKT, you aspire to be an active, influential partner for the managers in your area of responsibility. You effortlessly manage the various requirements and interests of different hierarchy levels, employees, works councils, internal HR colleagues, etc. You define yourself not only as an HR function, but you understand the situation and requirements of your business area and actively take your share of responsibility for the progress of our change management processes as well as the success of the organization. In doing so, it is the range of activities that you particularly enjoy.


You will be responsible for the following aspects: 
Your agenda will include ensuring all modern HR processes (HR planning, recruiting, (talent) development, performance management, compensation, engagement, diversity and corporate culture initiatives) in the assigned support area, if necessary with the derivation and coordination of local specifics and the close consultation of the supervised managers in all personnel and organizational matters of the teams/departments, but also to close consulting of the assigned managers in all personnel and organizational matters of the teams/departments. One major task is constructive and effective works council management, in day-to-day matters as well as in the drafting and negotiation of company agreements. You agree on global, business unit-related and local strategies with legal, collective bargaining and personnel policy aspects - for solutions, if necessary, with the involvement of relevant stakeholders. You are responsible for ensuring qualitative, timely administrative implementation of HR actions, incl. guidance of HR back office and payroll colleagues. Further key tasks are:

  • Active monitoring of change management measures in particular by providing conceptual and technical support, e.g. by designing and leading workshops 
  • Regular and active evaluation/processing of relevant HR KPIs including deduction and implementation of measures together with the management
  • Continuous improvement of local HR processes and performance levels within the frame of the defined service delivery model 

To connect a greener world, you should have the following skills and experience:
You graduated in economics, law or psychology and have several years of practical work experience in a comparable position in a matrix organization, preferably from the manufacturing B2B area as well as preferably from a niche technology. Practical experience in working with various international stakeholders is a must. You also have a solid knowledge of labour law, including tariff law, as well as advanced knowledge in constructive works council management. Experience in project management is an advantage. Your appearance and actions are characterised by commitment, proactivity and solution orientation, even under high stress and contradictions. You also have strong mediation and conflict management skills and are confident in handling MS Office, HR management systems (SAP SuccessFactors) and the analysis of HR key figures. Further important qualifications are:

  • Fluent in German and English for daily use 
  • Readiness to travel (depending on location) approx. 1/3, regular home office is actively supported
