Take on responsibility as a category manager. You will develop purchasing strategies for your product groups and implement them in cooperation with international stakeholders. Become part of Strategic Purchasing!

You will be responsible for the following aspects: 

Your agenda  will include the implementation of divisional initiatives, the Accessories purchasing strategy and cost reduction projects in purchasing. You support operational / tactical procurement according to the escalation model and negotiate framework agreements with strategic partners. You will also be responsible for the annual price negotiation, contract management and identification of strategic and alternative suppliers. Collaboration with relevant stakeholders (Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, PM, Sales) is also part of your daily tasks. Further key tasks are: 

• Escalation level in case of difficulties in the operative work with suppliers
• Master data maintenance for suppliers (info records, orders, framework agreements)
• Supplier management and supplier qualification, incl. creation of new direct suppliers

To connect a greener world, you should have the following skills and experience:

You have completed vocational training or technical college training (Fachwirt, Meister) in the technical or commercial field. Furthermore, you are characterised by a structured and analytical way of working as well as strong teamwork and communication skills. Further important qualifications are:

• Knowledge of SAP
• Good knowledge of English and German
